What OKgamers.com is and is not...

What is OKgamers.com?

 What OKgamers.com is not
A state based solution to find events, tournaments, and other players for all ages and types of gamers around the Oklahoma area. We are not out for your money or profits. We do not charge for the use of the site. We do not gain any money from the events we do host, throw, or assist in running.
A free web resource for gamers and businesses to post their tournaments and events for gamers around Oklahoma to find out about and attend. We are not a company, or group that sponsors, or runs tournaments for profit.
A simple online solution to place to your events, and send people to check it out. We are not only posting 'our events'. While yes we do post whenever we do something to help spread the word about the site, the WHOLE purpose of the site is to be a central known place for you to post your events, and share them.
A site to go to looking to network with other gamers to find competition, opponents and fellow players in the games you enjoy. THIS LEADS TO BIGGER EVENTS - as we pool resources, and work together, not hiding on our respective game sites. We are not a replacement for your games website. Join your national community on your games site, then join your local and varied gaming community on OKgamers.com.
A grassroots group of gamers determined to improve their state. As we make no money to promote the site with, we promote the site through giving aid and information to local businesses and fellow gamers on throwing events, tournaments, conventions, etc. While we do throw monthly events to help get the word out about this website, we are not a tournament throwing group , just gamers trying to make a difference.
