The OKC crew came wanting competition, and left fairly happy from what I could tell. Beyond the OKC types, we had a decent showing with Micah - a random but well appreciated TU type out to play. Mj couldn't make it, and Brett / Fuzion got stuck in Norman, the same fate as Patrick - so in a way it was a smaller tourny just from some of the more long term players not showing up.

Tourny standings came down to myself pulling first for the first time, BH8's with second, and Ken with third. Evidently I was really pulling for Tony to win, as he got written in for 3th in the brackets, but actually got 4th lol. Prizes were divvied up, and good times were had. A few of us went off to Ihop, then back to my house for some practice, till 5something am.

Negatives - Mj, Patrick and Brett not being able to show. Hoping for more of a TU player turn out, only Micah came.

Positives - Lots of Thursday night practice was talked of - good since after regionals we'll need it, and also Patrick will be shipping off to Norman after May - so new comp growing in Tulsa is positive. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and the tourny ran fairly smoothly. Some old SC2 players surfaced. Also - people all seemed down on the idea of Funhouse moving to the Riverwalk / it wasn't going to be 'too far' / blah balh balh. Good for Rod, and us all that love arcades that are awesome - as they need our support.

ourny fee and prize - no fee, only the 5$ location cost. Prizes will be determined upon tournament, and also seeding in upcoming SC3 Tulsa Regionals tournament.

This tourny and all Tulsa tournaments and Regionals will be held according to Nationals rules and regulations. This is because all tournaments leading up to Regionals, and even Regionals it's self is in preparation for Nationals - click here for rules .

NOTE - Rules are subject to change - we will run each tournament by the current set of rules. So - keep an eye on the thread for new bannings and any adjustments. Overall rules / rounds / and so forth should stay the same, glitches and possibly some bonus characters are the ones to watch out for real banning / changes.

The last 2 tournaments have had over 20 people show up - with at least 5 to 10 people being new / different / switching out each time. Hopefully we'll manage to get all those guys, and more back. Also -we'll be sponsored by Game Crazy of Broken Arrow this tournament, which means more prizes, and setups - which is always great news.
