OKgamers - Help BRAINSTORM for what to put into our video intro's...

Okay - so somewhere in a notpad somewhere I had the idea of creating a 'rotating list' of games to intro / be the animation of the OKgamers video intro.  You know that flashy fun part to the start of all our videos we need? 

I was going to do like

The shape of the OK in our logo comes down.

The OK in OKgamers comes over and appears over it.

Then a list of games scroll or 'roll through' like a odometer in front of the state, but next to the OK - so it would show

OK Halo
OK Street Fighter
OK Soul Calibur
OK Magic TG
OK Super Smash Bros

etc, etc...

The longer the list, the faster it can go.  Also, the more variety we get, the less I'd use "Halo, Halo 2" and just use Halo, etc. 

Then once it was about to finish the list would slow down, and "gamers" would be the last 'game', and the .com would fade in, and then zoom out / in to cut to the video / next scene.

Whole thing would take about 3 seconds.

well with what we did @ funhouse was good but i think to really get a good * what do we want* i think if we sit down and watch the videos and discuss the good and the bad we can get each others suggestions and possibly come up with a solution

i can make a montage of my game play.. Icy as a monatage of his play... Austin has a montage of his play... rweligion could make a montage at my house, or icy, or where ever... i mean.. we can cover Halo fine..

we could have people taping other games.. (IE, SC, DDR) at the tournaments... as for gameplay.

... other than that i have no clue.

Aka - I don't care about what we PUT UP - this is what we put BEFORE we put up - aka our intro animation.  Like the "MLG" animation before their vids?  (I assume they have lool)   Like the way people know it's a OKgamers video?  Like - the way we spread the info about the site, by having a nice shiney intro vid to impress people with?  I was just looking for more games / things to include in the list for the current idea I have for it...

Ok not very original but how about crimson background and the OK state black pic falls on to it with a "thud" then have the okgamers.com letters in white shot onto the state pic and then fade the "make ok a place for gamers" on to the bottom, nice short just my thoughts. anything longer and it'll get annoying I would think.

Anyway - bump - as I'll be using this for the SC3 vids coming out soon / probably all OKgamers vids.

And yes - the whole thing will conclude in just a few seconds - it's meant to be fast, and convey all the different genre's we cover in a fast presentation.  Not sure if it'll be awesome or not - but it's what I've got right now

If you have more games to add to the 'OKblah' concept - let me know, will be wanting to put this together soon.

Actually it does, X_A said to list games and he listed COD4 which wasn't on the list.

Granted but it has no input nor any substance its just spamming, title- Help brainstorm what should be in out videos intro. I mean to mean to me naming random games isnt productive and also note the date this thread was opened, COD4 wasnt even released so not like it was an oversight it just wasnt in existence. I understand that COD4 is a very popular game but so are the million of pokemon games for DS not to mention we have yet to date held any kind of event for COD4 due to the LAN play being horrible and completely different from the online gameplay, so again no need to include it in any intro b/c it has yet to have any impact on our community or any events, i could have written all this at the time of my last post i just didnt feel like it.


So yes just saying COD4 is useless i stand by that

Although it may have no impact on our community as of yet, it still would not negate it from being listed as a game in an intro. It is very popular and people recognize it. Many of the games listed have no impact on our community as a whole, but are included nonetheless.

And thats why i say not to include those games, cover the games we do gives people an idea of what we do specifically, i mean whats the point of listing every game ever?
