Arlington, TX - D.I.D #3 (Dead or Alive) and other games - September 28-30th

Hey there, everyone.

There is a big convention called G-Kon 2 going to be happening in Arlington, TX on September 28-30th. ^_^

Not only is D.I.D #3 (Dead or Alive in Dallas) going to be happening there (big DoA tournament in the community), but there are also going to be a bunch of other games played. On the list, I bolded ones that most of this community play but there are plenty of other ones.

There are going to be tons of Dead or Alive 4 players there, including high level players such as MASTER, Offbeat Ninja, Vanessa, Perfect Legend, and Silent Legend, as well as many of the players from the Championship Gaming Series. Even Mochi-a (Virtual Fighter 5 and Dead or Alive 4 Master File author) is flying in from Japan to kick butt. This guy isn't just good a VF5, he's on a whole different level. No joke.

So check out the page and, if you're interested, I highly encourage you to go, even if it's a bit of a drive.

RISLONE - I WOULD KISS YOU!@#  Okay, not *really*, but it'd be a great opportunity for NVGA people to network, and yea.  We are NVGA people   That, and it's the 'precursor' to our big May event - so yea...  Be good to be there at least one day

I'll see what I can do, it might be good because that's when I have an "open" paycheck that doesnt go for anything so it's pretty likely. We can talk more about it at the meeting or what-not.

Is there anyway that we can get some more info regarding the halo 2 tourney and how it will be run as well as the timing of the event b/c we are watning to put together a team if it would be worth the money of a three day trip to dallas, not to mention i have to deal with steel and he smells funny

Your best bet is to email the people that are listed on the site. To be honest, I really only know about the DOA4 because I'm going to play in that and the community is really good about getting information out of people lol.
