Yes it is time once again...

It is time to dig into your closets, garage, attic, or heck.. maybe even your living room entertainment cabinet to bring forth the video gaming goodness! Blow the dust off, check the connections, get good RF cables and carefully hand pick your favorite games to share with your fellow enthusiasts and the public at large!

It is time for the Oklahoma Video Game Exhibition to return for it's seventh event!

It is with honor and much pleasure that I officially announce the 2010 OVGE!!

The When: October 23rd, 2010 (That's a Saturday...)

The Place: Spirit Bank Event Center (Cause we really like the way they do things...)

The Times: Setup for Vendors and Exhibitors begins on Friday Oct. 22nd from 8am to 10pm. (We never have enough time for setup and hanging out...)
                The OVGE opens to the public on Saturday Oct. 23rd, from 9am to 5pm. (Not too early and it ends before dinner. Excellent Yes!? )

]Admission: Is $5 (USD) per person ages 8 and over. (That means the youngsters get off cheap... )

Tables Prices: We are simplifying this year and all tables will be $50 each. No limit on how many you may need as there are plenty available! That will include access to power and skirting.

First it is with great pleasure to the make the following announcement:

The OneUps to perform LIVE at OVGE 2010!

Video Game Funk/Fusion band The OneUps will be performing at the Oklahoma Video Game Exhibition! Come hear their funkified versions  of music from Mario, Sonic, Mega Man and more. CDs, DVDs and T-Shirts will be available all day. Click the pic below to learn more and listen to samples of their excellent work!

In addition we finally have links and some videos for the 2008 and 2009 events. There are still some more pics to get uploaded but we have quite a bit to look at in the mean time!

I've got the flyers now at all the local Vintage and GameXChange's. However, I hear there is a GameXchange in Muskogee? It is also part of Mr. Cherry's clan?

Also, I did try and get flyers delivered over at Wizard's, but... Jimmy was busy in a game at the time, and I simply couldn't wait. As it is...I'm not sure how I'm going to get flyers to him or Starbase 21 since I have to do live tech support for the next 3 Saturday's starting with this Saturday for OU games.

Jimmy works weekly other than Tuesdays I think?  And they are open / around past 7pm some days...

If that still doesn't help, let me know and maybe I can meet with you, grab some, and get them over there!

Yeap...I got the flyers down at Wizard's. Would still like to try and get some to SB21..but time is short for me and we are nearly out of time..ugh.
Any other places besides them, Vintage Stock, and GameXchange I could maybe get flyers too? Forgot suggesting large B&M corps. Can't get flyers there unless those places are part of the event.

Never under estimate the power of random local coffee shops, Brookside, and Cherry Street - problem is they are a mindfield - no real clear " go here or there" to those.

I stopped by and talked to Jimmy for you, so good times!

Hmmm..not a bad Idea. I did get some flyers dropped off at The Max in downtown which is the new retro bar with arcade games, skeeball, old 80s cartoons and Max Headroom!

I need to give them a call tomorrow about getting together to discuss some cross promotion for the event and their new place. Spoke with the owner on Friday night and he was really interested in helping out and being a part of the event. So... we shall see.
