if you have one of the first generations and you didnt buy it used and still have proof of purchase you should be good for a free extended warranty. now if you dont have any of that, then there is a place up here in stillwater that will fix it... it will still be about 100 dollars or so though, all things considered.
your best bet is to look around online and fix it yourself. cost me about 20, and thats because i didnt have any torx screwdrivers or artic silver, which was 15 of it
