FLIP - when people KEEP TALKING about 360 because you bring it up - that ='s confusion. I've already said OKgamers position on SF4 and it's console - I'll just quote it - from this same page.
Anyway - the official answer for SF4 is to follow the National community standard and use PS3 only, as mentioned in the first post. While yes a short while ago we did extend an offer to the 360 community, the results were no change, and thus we'll be sticking with PS3 to stay with the standard. It enables Out of Staters to travel in knowing we use standard rules, and locals to travel out of state knowing they are used to the rules.
AnimeFreak - not makign it - means I hope someone brings a PS3 from the SF4 community unlocked, etc. As it states in our rules, if no / not enough hardware shows, we can shorten, cancel, etc. We rarely have to, but if SF4 players locally don't have a way to support their game, I guess we were wrong to be so supportive? Dunno, this event will be educational.
I've emailed FLIP and told him to go ahead and bring his 360 - ONLY because worse case - we'll setup a CASUAL CENTER on 360 if no ps3's show up. We will not throw a tournament on a console not supported, for the x time
Cancellations - thanks for the heads up - we understand guys.
Pre-registration - with a discount, is supposed to help us determine who is showing up, vs who's not, etc. The PROBLEM is - gamers we KNOW are showing up, haven't pre-registered...
...proving gamers are just lazy lol.
In the end, we'll do what we can, with what shows up. If that's not good enough to travel for - and I don't blame you - we apologize that your games local community didn't support this event; we at OKgamers don't know why, but we'll take it under advisement for future events, as always.
