Norman - Xbox 360/PS2/Wii casual play - Monthly

[Norman_Teens]

The Norman Public Library holds a free monthly electronic gaming event for teens called Game On.  Dates for the spring are January 16, March 13, April 10, and May 15.  All Game On events are Saturday afternoons from 1-4p.  Game On is open to teens in 7th to 12th grade.  Games and gaming systems are provided by the Library.

PS2

Quick question -
Will there be tournaments or will it just be a kind of meet and greet sort of thing?

This is usually a meet and greet sort of thing for casuals. They didn't seem to mind that I wasn't in highschool, but I think I came in after the official event.

If a few community representatives for some games were allowed in to demonstrate game mechanics, show good sportsmanship, and promote local gaming events, it would be a great opportunity to network with younger gamers and allow them a venue for participating in the greater competitive gaming community at large if they were so interested.
