D&D - Bartlesville
« on: August 04, 2009, 11:24:55 AM »
Hey guys. I'm trying to find players and DMs in the local B'ville area that either have already started a group or is wanting to form a group. I have played 3.5 before, though 4.0 is also very much doable, depending on who has the books for reference. I have different kind of book that is adaptable into the game, though the specifics I will talk with each individual when the time comes. Again, just an option.

The specifics like time and place is up in the air at the moment, though when we do start getting people interested I will definitely update this forum with the information. And the common rule will be that everyone either brings a munchydish to the game or chips in five dollars for pizzas later. So long as we keep our D&D Gamers full!

Anyone can contract me for any reason!  :D

It's not that old :)

Welcome to the site!  Also, know that we've had a proven 10 to 1 ratio, lurkers vs posters - so even if she didn't get a response on here, she might have gotten one directly, etc.  Good luck!!

I moved here 5 years ago and have have been trying to find gamers in this area ever since.  Please tell me you are still trying to get a game going, or that you have room at the table for one more.

The OP / original poster looks like she logged in one day and registered, posted, came back the next day, and never came back?  So much not logging in!  Hopefully you'll have more luck with Mbudzi.

Anyway - I guarantee you if you keep an eye out here you'll find some local D&D - but you've got to give it more than a DAY lol, some gamers are a bit too instant gratification maybe?  Maybe she just never logged on but watched?  Eh.

It's a shame your not closer to Tulsa, my roommate was just complaining about D&D, and I could use this post to bash him even more :)

Have you tried contacting her by e-mail? People generally check that on a more regular basis than forum posts. I'm assuming you've tried this, but just in case, I thought I'd bring it up.

We live at the intersection of Hwy 20 and 75, about 45 minutes south of Bartlesville.  We have a D&D game that's looking to add up to 3 players.  It's been going on for a while and we've slowly lost a couple people due to jobs, car problems, etc.

If you're interested, call 918-396-0870 and ask for Brett, the DM, or email me.  We meet on Sundays at 1 pm and usually play until 7 or 8.
