OKC - HxC Summer Season Opener - SF4/SSBB 1v1 - 6/27/09

I'm brand new to this site and this tournament looks like it could be alot of fun, I love Street Fighter. A few questions:  Whereabouts in the Biltmore is the tourney being held?  Near the bar I hope.  Also, as of now are there enough systems?  I really don't feel comfortable bringing my 360.  I really look foward to facing off against fellow Oklahomans with a love of Street Fighter 4.

If you don't want to bring your 360 thats fine... I would bring your own controller though.. the tournament will be in one of the back conference rooms. Just go to the front desk and they will point you in the right direction.

I think if there are more than 50 people at the brawl tournament, than we should account for a 3rd place prize.   as well as an increase in winnings.

We will decide that one the day of. We dont think we will have more than 32 for brawl. There hasnt been much activity going on with the brawl people.

there should be 40 if more come it will increase winnings I went to the norman event so it should be a goood turn out

I dunno; I know several people in OKC who usually don't go to tourneys because of distance are coming to HXC since its so much closer. I'm pretty sure the turnout will be 40+ (that was about the SSBB turnout at TCC, too)

for an actual question, when blazblue comes out, will there be tournaments for that as well that i can come up and raep everyone?

my hakumen is already beastly. got some irks to work out but hey it should only take me a few more days of practice to be spot on.

I am going to be one of these people (for SF4 at least).

I'm probably going to bring a 360 and a copy of SF4, or use it for people to play HD Remix friendlies on and try out that game if that sounds like a good idea.

Good Stuff. Trust me.. there will be alot of people at this tournament. We didnt get our flyers out the way we wanted to BUT!!!! Alot of people knows about it and its going to be competitive. So bring it. For you Ps3 SF4 fighters we do have the converter boxes So everyone can go back and forth between consoles. I think that if there is a match between Ps3 fighter vs Xbox 360 Fighter the match should be played on Ps3 console but of course the xbox gamer can use a 360 controller.
