Well, as much fun as sharing an opinion is guys - the last few posts were not discussion, but just sharing of their own views? If we discuss changes, we can go forwards with those. Simply providing new and dynamically different versions and views won't get is anywhere...
...however? NONE OF THAT MATTERS ANYMORE! YAY!
What DOES MATTER - What we are CURRENTLY DOING - vs MLG CURRENT RULES:
It's been stated that MLG rules are being accepted all over the Nation STRAIGHT as they are.
...if we do that? Well here are the FULL RULES for Orlando MLG -
http://pro-circuit.mlgpro.com/pro-circuit/2010/orlando/online-qualifiers/super-smash-bros-brawl-1v1/rules-settingsOur current rules -
http://www.okgamers.com/pdf/ssbb-rules.pdf(There has been STRONG support of adding a ledge grab rule of around 50 or 60? And no "Scrugging" or flying under the map with MK to delay matches.) We should add that, but if we straight adopt MLG - what's it matter?
Anyway, so what's different from what I see?
Our starters are 5, there's 9.

Rules - things that stuck out as different:
If the Timer runs out, the winner of the Game will be determined by the following criteria in this order: Stock and Percentage. If Stock is used to determine a winner, the highest number will win. If Percentage is used to determine a winner, the lowest number will win. If both Stock and Percentage are tied, Sudden Death won’t be used and a Tiebreaker Round will be played instead. In a Tiebreaker Round, Stock will be set to 1, the Timer will be set to 4 Minutes, and the same Stage and Characters must be used.
If the Timer runs out and a Player exceeds the Edge Grab Limit for that Game’s Stage, that Player will Forfeit the Game. However, if the Timer runs out and both Players exceed the Edge Grab Limit for that Game’s Stage, the penalty will not be enforced (See All Matches Rule #7). The Edge Grab Limit on Norfair will be 45. The Edge Grab Limit on all other Stages will be 35. The Edge Grab Limits only apply to Games/Tiebreaker Rounds in which the Timer runs out.

What did I miss?
What do you guys think about switching?
DISCUSSION can be held till 4/23 on whether we SHOULD NOT switch to MLG rules.
If there is just random chatter, or no discussion, then we'll adopt MLG rules.
If points are made, and debated, then a discussion will be happening, and we'll go off those calls made, if anything actually lines up. Aka - if you guys can come to a concensus. Just a bunch of chatter, we go MLG like other area's.
You've got a week.
