PS3 - yea, we are going to be using that as the standard, but how do we take care of wireless controllers?!@

DOUBLE KO - now what?

Character selection - winner stays?  Doesn't have to?

X A

PS3 Controllers - When swappping out wireless controllers from one console to another, the easiest way is to plug in your usb cord, which will automatically move it from one console to another. I really apologize if I screwed up that match on station 8! It was pretty funny though. ^__^

Double KO - Keep playing as if that match never took place?

Character selection - I don't think that's really an issue... I think people should probably be able to switch characters whenever in between matches they want. If they want the extra challenge of switching characters, power to em. Some characters DO have match-ups that work better than others, but it's not a fight-defining difference (if you're a good, versatile player... unlike me, who can't handle turtling Guiles/Hondas/Blankas). And hey, that's life.

The wireless rule is taken care of in brotherjosephs post.

I think the double KO rule stands like:
"Count it as if both players won (so if one player is 1-0 up in matches, the player with the 1 advances or if it's 0 - 0 then it is now 1 - 1) however if it results in a tie an additional round is played with the same characters to determine who advances."

Character selection is normally Winner locked, loser can change.

Character switching should allow counter picking, so I believe winner should have to stick with his character.

I agree with all of these statements. This is why I kept the 2 USB cables on my hardware.

Quite an ego.  You gonna dissapear again when someone beats you?  Anyway, this is for rules, not posturing, you wanna trash talk go to the comp thread lol.

--

But - as Lonewolf points out, he won on either console, so for those complainers about switching from 360 to ps3, there's always that ;)

--

PS3 - is the community's choice, so OKgamers is going to back it.  Also, for the Jenks event, 3.5 ps3 setups came, and 3 360's with no TV's showed, so no overwhelming numbers, and in the end we had enough to go with standards, that means we'll stick with the standard as far as OKgamers is concerned.

Wireless - have the cables then?  k.

Double KO = point towards each.  Otherwise, do it again, check.

Characters - winner = locked sounds right by me too, soo unless there is something on Shoryuken against it, we'll go with that.

--

PDF is technically up, but we need to update it with this stuff, etc.

Lol im just kidding Saif but that is true it does not take long for a person to get used to either systems. There are some differences but it will not usually make or break the deal. Also confidence is key Saif you do not want to go into every tourney thinking your going to lose but not to be to over confident or maybe act like it so you think he will underestimate you lol.

Also for controller changing, i haven't found a way that you CAN do it without being in the match already, thee isn't a menu to pull up until it's already underway

Are you talking about for changing button layouts on SF4? Because if you're talking about that, you can hit the options from the main menu and set up controllers.

As far as assigning controllers just hold down the PS button then select controller options and assign the controller to whichever number you want it to be.

Not to dig on you I'm just not sure what you're talking about.

i know you can change the buttons from the main menu, the issue is people will keepp changing controllers around, brinng their own and what not, and they'll keep changing, so we'll have to go to the main menu every other fight

Yeah it's not a problem. It only takes a minute or two per setup, unless the people playing don't use that console and are totally lost. ^__^

What the people at Final Round did was start a match with any chars, set your buttons, and then go back to the char select screen.  That seemed pretty quick and efficient.
