hehe, well I'm not sure how much of a point I was trying to make. It wasn't a response to any individual comment just my overall thought process. Of course not everyone is going to feel the way I do. And I'm not saying there is anything wrong with all girl stuff. Simply pointing out why the community as a whole doesn't expect much from the female gamer, and how that respect is gained.

I promise you. Maybe not the first time, or even the second, but if you or anyone else consistently does well they will get some kinda respect. Even if thats just the fear of not wanting to be killed by a girl.

As a girl gamer, I find that for the most part girls only really take off the 'noob with boob' label when we play decently well. I like the reaction when that happens. It's funny really, 'cause for me I enjoy being 'one of the guys'. Anyway. I may have missed it, but what is the title for the forums?

*Is anyone willing to friend me on XboxLive? I need people to play and practice with (all I got is Halo 2 and Soul Calibur 4 right now... I know SC4 isn't great online...)*

Sex discrimination is going to be in any community....forever. Bottom line. It's only so bad online because people can trash talk anyone and say things they wouldnt normally say in public behind a mic. Seriously if someone does that to you online than you shouldnt quit out of a match and go sulk. Thats exactly what they want you to do. I know all to well that in Halo you have the option to mute players individually or better yet set it where you have all players muted since from what ive heard so far girls dont like to talk in the first place because they are exploited.

i will join it.

.....U are not a girl.

Umm.. yea people are rude to girl gamers. It happens all the time and its not going to stop.. I've been in tournaments where I plowed through the compatition and they continued to talk trash when I'm standing there holding the trophy. You can't gain everyones respect even if your labelled best in the world someone will still say you suck and talk trash.

Some guys have a spaz when a girl beats them.. why?... bc they aren't use to it. Girls really aren't seen as being as good at video games. SOOO if girls want more respect make guys use to losing to girls. Join tourneys, practice, study the game.. then WIN WIN WIN!! Yea your going to have those guys that still give you crap, but just walk over challenge them, beat them in front of all their friends, laugh and skip away.. yes SKIP it makes it worse. Mwahahaha!!

Also I agree with cools.. girls join girl teams/forums/clans so they find more people like them. It's so much fun to walk into a socity domainated by males and win a tournment... but its even more fun to do it with a team full of girls, plus its hardly ever done. Being the underdog and taking home the gold is the best feeling evahhhh!!
