Bethany - Halo 3 2v2 Tournament - 2/17

this sunday the 17th there will be a halo tournament at Papa Angelos 39th (MAIN) and college. there number is           (405) 491-6767. u must go there and sign up before the tourney. its $25 for each team of 2, and it comes with pizza and drink. if not enough ppl sign up before this sunday it will be next sunday. i still dont know everything about it but im about to go up there and see either today or tomorrow but for sure there is a tournament. i think its double elimination. my gamertag is xBig Daddy v2. u can contact me if u want but spread the word

22 teams. must go sign up (call for info). they will have 4 tv's and cash price could get up to $300. these ppl who run the pizza place are very nice ppl and it will be a great fun little LAN. its slayer by what im told and double elimination

well im not running it im just informing. i got a lot of ppl from my school in it too. im going today after school to sign up. i think there is for sure 10 teams right now. those are just the ones that i know of. but it should be really fun.

MORE INFO: it will start around 2 or 3 o pm and 30 inch TVs. so far only 6 teams have signed up. there number is 491 6767 and u have to go sign up then u can pay on sunday. if they get a good crowd Papa Angelos will hold like 1 every month. plz go sign up

That's kind of unusual isn't it?  How do you know it will be 22 teams when there are 8 signed up?  Also if it is $25 entry, what kind of prizes are there?

Given preparations, and other potential factors, I can see why requiring a set amount of gamers to be signed up would make sense.   Usually I've seen a minimum / maximum cap - but let's remember guys - an event is an event.  However they wish to throw it is their business.

Just a friendly note to the gamers reviewing this, I'd suggest any requests be sent via PM, that way they don't clog up the thread too much :)

ahh, I see.  I guess that's just a little more organization that I'm used to lol.  That's really not a bad idea, that way you can guarantee a certain prize or whatever beforehand, rather than just adding up the proceeds from people who attended and knowing last minute what the prizes are.
