Why talk?

Ok, maybe it's because I'm a lil new here, but why do most of you guys have to talk smack about someone else? You guys need to remember that they are just games and it's not worth fighting over. SO if anyone can explain it to me, I'm more than willing to listen.

1.  Its fun to make arguments, Specially ones you know you can win and that you know people will still continue to argue with you about it.
2. Competitive.   We all wanna be the best.
3. Were guys....  Guys always talk smack and always think they are better than everyone else

then instead of talking smack, host a tourney with the "BEST" and see who really is the best. To me its a waste of time talking if you cant back it up.

1. Yea it may be fun but remember not everyone cares and it can easily bog down the site itf its just people fighting constantly, so maybe we should make an effort to scale it back a bit for the sake of the forums bc not everyone knows the argument or cares but its always the first post it seems

2. Again not nescessarily true, i have no desire to be the best, not even a little bit. I just want to have a good time and kick it with my friends man.

we did that already....me and josh didnt drop a game to anybody and declared best in teh state of oklahoma we have a picture to prove it.

We did. We had a norman Lan.  two of them actually with the biggest turnout any tourney in oklahoma has hadf.  I took two diff teams to them.  Won both of them.  But people always make excuses.  saying like they didnt hear about it,. Thats what okgamers.com is here for.  It's a place so now everyone can talk to eachother and hear about other lil touneys and lans everyone is having.

Rocky, she doesnt know that man.....yes some of us remember you two in H2 but the site is growing alot of people have no clue what you are talking about and the point of the post to me is just stop the arguing regardless of who is best.................there is an old saying
"act like you have been there before" our baseball coach used to say it all the time, if your good and you know it then just leave it at that....there is no need for the constant chest beating and im better than you stuff it will only hurt this site in the long run

not here to hurt the site....in fact im allowing your flyers to be handed out at my store in the city...im talking to her on aim she asked me to check it out....i have only posted negatively about one person on this site and that was steel cause he was uncalled for.

halo2 would be hard to host another event.  at the norman lan there was ffas.  which i won.    but in halo3 there isnt a map Fair enough to play on yet,. hopefully bungie comes out with one.

Im not saying you are being negative yourself, i am merely referring to the fact that if you check the most recent posts in each thread they are all kids talking trash............i know arguments happen, i get that im just saying that on the scale it is currently it could hurt the site, no one attacked you personally rocky.............and i know that you allowed that and i appreciate it, but again no one attacked you
